J. K. Machine Tools was incorporated in the year 1975 in Rajkot (India) as a partnership firm. The company was established specially for manufacturing Heavy Duty Precision Centre Lathes & All Geared Centre Lathes with its brand name "ATUL". Mr. Jivraj Patel is the founder member of J. K. Machine Tools and still today he is the brain behind making quality products. ATUL lathes have earned a name as ‘Quality Product’ all over India. Mr. Jivraj still sits quietly to think improvement in quality. Mr. Suresh and Amrutlal are now the active partners of J.K. Machine Tools and they also work on shop floor and think of giving better quality machines to customers spread all over India. Machine building is a family business for J. K. Machine Tools.

The mother machines in J.K. Machine Tools are of very high quality and are most dependable machines. The factory has a fully equipped STANDARD ROOM. ATUL lathe is probably the only machine of its kind manufactured in India, whose spares are easily available. The components manufactured are within a very close tolerance limits and are fully interchangeable and therefore maintenance persons never complain about interchangeability of spares.

J. K. Machine Tools has very well spread Dealers' Network. All the Dealers are trained to offer excellent after sales service. More over all of them keep minimum stocks of spares. Periodic service camps are arranged in dealers’ area by J.K. Machine Tools expert service members. Round the clock service and spares availability at dealers places is monitored by J.K. Machine Tools.

J.K. Machine Tools plans to manufacture CNC Turning Centre and CNC Vertical Machining Centre and the same will also stand to all quality norms. J.K. Machine Tools expects that the CNC Machines will also win customer hearts as soon as it is launched.
